“Staff were great”

“We enjoyed out stay, but it isn't the Hilton. Sleep here and enjoy the rest of your time outdoors.”
+This hotel is old, but they did their best to make our stay enjoyable. The owner was very cordial and was proactive in accommodating our specific needs. In our room, the towels were folded into fan shapes, and the toilet paper was tied in a bow! A small jar of Seaside's saltwater taffy greeted us on the table. The office offered snacks and videos to borrow. We liked that housekeeping comes only once every three days, leaving us free to come and go as we want without running into someone coming to clean up. As a plus, any time we did encounter the owner, she would ask if we needed anything.
−We enjoyed our stay, but the room was pretty sparse. We had a double queen room, which was spacious. It had a nice cable TV, video player, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. As for furniture, the room had only one very small nightstand between the beds that had no drawers or shelves. No clock or phone. It barely fit a lamp and my CPAP machine. There was no dresser - only a rectangular table with a shelf under. The room had a table and 4 chairs, which was nice for eating in, but it was the only place to sit other than on the bed. The walls were bare except for one small wall decoration. Noise from other rooms was very noticeable. We could hear people talking and other noises from the adjacent rooms, and loud heavy footsteps and the floor creaking from the room above. Fortunately, the noises stopped by about 11 pm, so it didn't disturb our sleep.

“Fun stay and close to the beach and shopping.”
+The Lady (sorry I can't remember her name) she was great every time we come to Seaside it has been a tradition of ours to stay there.

+It is older and smaller, but very clean and comfortable as well as being super close to the beach, shopping and food.

“Super sweet and cozy!!!! They let you choose from the bookshelf of DVDS!!”
+The sweetest lady at the front office checked us in and she was super understanding and caring. There is a really awesome shelf with DVDs you can just have for the night which is super cute and nostalgic. There are toys outside for kids to play games with. You can walk to the beach!!! There are snacks and coffee and hot chocolate. The movies and hot chocolate completely saved my boyfriend and I that night. Thank you for being so understanding.
−The stairs have questionable nails and staples outside, minor details that could be fixed up easy. The walls and doors should be wiped off and maybe repainted because there was a lot of stains and the floors could have been a bit cleaner looking but nothing dreadful at all. The blankets would be better if not a fuzzy one but a thick comforter just for the look of being clean and the sheets were very worn w lint balls and not soft but they were not dirty just something that guests may appreciate if that changed

“Great place and value”
+This was our second time staying here and we got the same room as we did the first time which was a nice surprise. The space was clean, staff was nice and it was an ideal location to walk everywhere.
−The space is cute but a little dated and has some areas that could use repairs. Nothing that would deter us from staying again.

−We noticed the streaming Roku wasn’t working, and while I never had a Roku before it looked like there was no power cable going into the Roku unit? A bit disappointed but it’s not crucial to the stay
