+Cleanliness. Facilities.
−Very overpriced. Room was very small. Dined at the restaurant on site. Food serving was very small for the prices. There is a loud noise every time the room above flushes the toilet. Beds weren’t overly comfortable. Breakfast that was ‘included’ with extra cost was average. Bread wasn’t fresh and only 2 small bits of butter for a loaf. The fresh orange juice was delicious.

“Good location, clean and comfortable but just very expensive.”
+Great location and staff were friendly. The bed was comfortable. The place was clean and tidy. We love anglesea as a place and like to support local busienss but our expectations were a bit higher with the price that we paid.
−The breakfast was provided in a small bag which did not feel worth the extra $50 we spent. The pool was advertised as a more relaxing space but we didnt really use this because of how many kids were around, it was small with almost no seats.

+Location was fantastic and the kitchenette in our room was very handy. Our room was very large as well.
−We had a spa room and the spa took up most of the bathroom so it was very tight. Outdoor area and floor inside around the windows hadn't been cleaned.

“Very disappointing.”
+The restaurant was very nice, happy hour with lovely staff.
−We had asked for a quiet room but we constantly had people going to the other amenities past our window at all times, the pool was nearby too. Our fridge was turned off when we arrived so there was a pool of water, it was attended to but the next morning when we went to make a cuppa the milk had curdled. The coffee machine also leaked and created another pool of water which the cleaners didn't bother to attend to. The bed was untidily made, pillowcases not even on the pillows properly. The receptionist refused to answer the locked door at 6.25pm when my husband had a query. There's more but I will stop there.

“Excellent place in a great location”
+It's in a very good location in the centre of Anglesea, near the river. The negative of that is that our choice of room with river view was very close to the Great Ocean Road, but that can't be helped if you want to overlook the beach on the surf coast. The kitchen/living area was VERY spacious and well furnished, and the two bedrooms and bathroom were excellent. Staff were super helpful, all facilities were excellent and everything was very clean and well looked after.
−Just two things could have been better. It was perishingly cold for much of our stay, and heating for this huge apartment relied on a reverse cycle air conditioner and a couple of fan heaters, which were barely adequate. Also, the well appointed kitchen had no sharp fruit and veg knives, and rather limited crockery and cutlery, and it seemed like they weren't really equipping you for self catering if that is what you wanted to do.
