−Extremely dated and in need of renovation but it is closing shortly to change ownership so hopefully they will do a much needed refurbishment

“Great hotel to stay for a couple of nights. Staff are excellent.”
+Fabulous location. Good Breakfast. Staff were fabulous. Restaurant staff were cheery and keen..... Some of the more experienced members of staff could coach the newbies a little to bring there skills up to par.... but overall superb. The Gardens were lovely and in summer would be fantastic to sit out in..... Rooms were warm.
−We had a suite as a treat, however the upstairs part of it never was used.... the bed should be up there and downstairs a living room.... Bathroom fittings are ready for a makeover. Moving away from carpets to wooden floors would help dust levels....
“We had a very pleasant, relaxing stay and the staff were very friendly & helpful. Thank you”
+Good breakfast, very friendly staff, very generous size room & kept very clean.
−We thought some of the decor was a bit tired but it didn't detract from a very pleasant stay

“Brilliant”
+Lovely hotel, friendly staff, food was brilliant, very clean room!
−Breakfast only started at 8 which is when I was supposed to be in the office so had to request an early breakfast and felt really inconvenient :(
