“A little oasis of peace and luxury.”
+Sumptuous apartment in an outstanding location on the hillside overlooking the canal basin and the hills beyond. 7 minutes walk down to the station and 10 minutes back up lol. Lovely walks along the canal path which is wide and fairly dry. The Chainbridge is only 40 minutes walk away. Beautiful decor and detailing from a giraffe statue to stainless steel kitchen worktops. Extras provided as gifts too. eg maltesers and Prosecco 😍Mayuri is lovely and friendly and was more than happy for us to arrive early on the first day plus she took our bags down for us .She lives in the main house but the apartment is totally private and accessed via the garden. Easy parking outside the house.
−No dislikes at all but as it’s a hill there are metal steps down to the apartment which could be a problem for some.

“Great place to stay for the Eisteddfod”
+Very friendly and helpful host, easy walking distance to the Eisteddfod site and into town, excellent views of the canal and the hills from the room.

“Wonderful retreat.”
+Probably one the best places we have stayed. The host was just lovely, treated us like friends from the moment we arrived. The room was amazing, immaculate, with views to die for. Perfect little added touches. Will 100% return to this gem of a place.

“Exceptional”
+It's taken me a little while to write this review because I wasn't sure that I wanted to share the Gamelin with anyone else but that wouldn't be fair to the wonderful hosts Mayuri and John. They have truly thought of everything and created accommodation that feels both luxurious and very comfortable and cosy. The location is perfect, just a five minute walk into town, and the views from both rooms are breathtaking. It's a gem of a find, so if you're travelling to Llangollen, don't hesitate, book it before someone else does, you won't be disappointed.
−Nothing that we didn't like but I would mention that although it's a short walk to town, it's uphill on the way back, so it might be a little challenging for someone who struggles to walk far. Having said that, we're all in our mid 60s to early 70s, fit and able, and had no problems.

+Beautiful location. Amazing views. Town centre a short walk away. Amazing friendly host. The room is beautiful with all amenities you could want or need. Exceptionally clean.
