+Sehr freundliches familiäres Hotel in einem alten typischen Stadthaus. Lage für Kairo super- nahe am Tahir Platz in einem netten Viertel mit Kiosks, Shops und Restaurants- eher die jüngere Generation die dort Essen geht aber super angenehm. Frühstücken auf Balkon ist toll. Wir fühlten uns pudelwohl.
−Man ist halt mitten in Kairo - selbst in den ruhigen Nebenstraßen hört man das Gehupr immer- kann es aber ausblenden- sooo laut war es nicht

“Great place to stay in Cairo!”
+Great stay! Staff were very kind, even let me shower after checking out since I had gone on a day tour and wasn’t leaving the city until 9pm. Very accommodating and attentive!

+Amazing stay at Eileen Hotel. Perfectly well situated in the downtown district. Very cute with a nice terrace over the city. The staff did their very best to accommodate us, the breakfast was really good ! They booked a 1 day day tour for the islamic cairo with magic carpet travel and an amazing tour guide, Ibraheem, who was so knowledgeable and so open and passionate about showing us his city and culture. 100% recommend
+Location is very close to the museums.
−Not much except that one of the beds in the family room the mattress was almost on the verge of throwing away.

+Personal muy amable. Desayuno bueno para los estándares de Egipto. Amplio horario de desayuno. Empieza 6:30. Agua embotellada y cisterna para su relleno en la sala comun. Agua caliente con buena presión. Jabón en el baño. Toallas y sabanas limpias. Hay calentador de agua y sobres de té y café para su uso. Habitación limpia en general, si comparamos con hoteles a precio parecido en el país. Ventas con doble cristal pero no cerraba lo bien que debiera. Había en nuestra habitación un balcón pero no lo tienen todas.
−Las habitaciones tienen deficiencias que no se suelen reparar o mantener. La caja fuerte no funcionaba pero seguramente si hubiéramos pedido solucionarlo, lo hubieran hecho.

+They arranged a driver for us who picked us up at the airport at dropped us up at the hotel. We arrived late (after 10pm) and they welcomed us with a big smile and tea. The room is clean and water temperature and pressure also good. For breakfast you have so many options, you cannot even choose, and their Egyptian food is very good! I would recommend it to everyone if you are looking for a hotel in downtown Cairo.

+De locatie was zeer goed in de "betere"buurt van Cairo met veel oude klassieke gebouwen, het hotel zelf is ook een geklasseerd monument en in de buurt op loopafstand heb je heel wat zaken die ook alcohol verkopen.
−Ontbijt was magertjes en niet toegespitst op niet-egyptische toeristen. De gebruikelijke egyptische prakjes maar bv geen eieren, weinig fuit.

+Rooms were pretty standard but clean and comfortable beds. The staff were helpful and friendly for the short time we were there. Wifi was pretty good.
−The lifts up to the rooms are small and cramped. Bathrooms are a bit narrow and cramped and breakfast wasn't great at all. Not in the nicest location but inside of the building is nicer than outside.
