“Nice quirky house needs updating”
+Some of the most comfortable beds ever, slept very well indeed.
−Lack of attention to details, a minute television in an 8 sleeper house, lots of small things could have been done better to greatly improve the overall experience.

+It was self catering
−Unfortunately it was a very cold weekend and there wasn’t one working heater in the house and the bedrooms were absolutely freezing we were able to light a fire in the lounge but it was extremely difficult to stay warm

+Location is perfect to be in the heart of Greyton. The house is quirky and each room has personality. Kitchen is well stocked with all your needs met to self-cater. Bathrooms are all unique and meets all requirements of various personalities.

−The lighting at front entrance doesn't work as sensor takes too long to come on and would suggest a normal on/off switch light. The braai and implements were extremely poor and no light at the braai. Roof leaking at entrance to kitchen with the rain.

“unwelcoming place to stay - no extras or even basics - needs renovation”
−Host should have contacted us to communicate check in procedure - instead she was surprised when i phoned her on the morning. could not accommodate our request for feather free room. Very cold reception and there was not even 1 teabag for us to make tea. No coffee, no sugar, no milk, no water - very unwelcoming. House need major renovation the walls have cracks and plaster missing. the only TV in the house is tiny, The pool is totally mis represented in the picture it is very small splash pool and was not clean. Wont stay there ever again.

+All 4 rooms have their own bathrooms and the rooms are spread out, you don’t feel like you’re on top of each other Lekker Kuier tafel, inside and on the stoep

+The long dining table. The large fridge/freezer is fantastic! The property has a well kept garden with beautiful roses.
−There seems to be a damp issue in the house with many areas where the paint has peeled off. Most of the light fittings had only one or two bulbs that actually worked. The ice machine did not work and only one half of the toaster worked. The shower in the back bedroom was blocked. (black floored shower) The shower curtains should be replaced. The pictures on the website are not reflecting the present look.
