“Okay, aber leider nicht (mehr) 5-Sterne”
+Ich mochte den freundlichen Service, die leichte Erreichbarkeit vom Bahnhof Keleti aus, das kleine, aber fein ausgestattete Gym mit Äpfeln und Wasser, das Omelett beim Frühstück und die netten Mitarbeitenden dort
−Ich war 2010 schon einmal dort- damals wirkte das Hotel deutlich frischer. Mein Zimmer war sichtlich in die Jahre gekommen, das Fenster war undicht, der Verkehr draußen nur mit Ohrstöpseln ausblendbar, die Tapeten wellten sich, das Badezimmer roch überaus unangenehm nach abgestandenem Wasser- da konnte ich Wasser durchlaufen lassen soviel ich wollte, war um 22 Uhr aber auch zu müde für einen Umzug. Leider konnte ich dies auch nicht rückmelden an der Rezeption, weil der Andrang so stark war und ich gar nicht gefragt wurde, wie mein Aufenthalt war. Beim Frühstück gab es Wartezeiten für einen freien Tisch, der Frühstücksbereich war recht laut und überfüllt und ganz anders als ich entspannte Frühstücke in 5-Sterne-Häusern gewohnt bin. Meine Zimmerkategorie beinhaltete diesmal nicht das SPA (ich finde ehrlich gesagt, sowas sollte immer inkludiert sein). Schade, aber so behalte ich wenigstens das in guter Erinnerung von 2010. Die Gegend ums Hotel ist eine ziemliche Partymeile- das muss man wollen. Insgesamt war mein Eindruck diesmal leider nicht gut, obwohl ich seit Jahren geplant habe, einmal zurück zu kommen in dieses für mich damals so beeindruckende Hotel.

“Un merveilleux séjour”
+Un personnel aux petits soins, un hôtel très bien situé et un établissement magnifique
−Peu d'eau au robinet de la salle de bain. La douche était très bien si ce n'est pas de pommeau de douche .en tant que femme je ne me lave pas les cheveux tous les jours et ce n'est pas pratique. Il y avait bien une baignoire mais la c'est le contraire le pommeau donnait une eau trop puissante ou trop chaude ou un peu froide. L'établissement est splendide mais certains équipements sont justes un peu désuet.

“Hôtel à recommander”
+Bien situé, l'hôtel est très attrayant à l'intérieur avec ses vastes salons et salles à manger très lumineux. Le personnel est très agréable. Le restaurant est très bon et le petit déjeuner très complet. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées (sdb avec douche et baignoire par exemple).

+Great location. Concierge staff very good and helpful. Comfortable bed with clean luxurious linen.
−Curtains in bedroom were in bad state of repair, with the backing falling apart. The hotel generally looked tired and not a grand as in the images. Particularly poor was the atrium restaurant. The food was uninspiring and worse still, not at all hot. Staff seemed lethargic and not happy in the restaurant. The rest of the hotel staff were fine. It took us a long time to check out and I wonder if something can be done to improve this service at the busy midday checkout time

“luxurious but still affordable”

+ארוחת בוקר מעולה ומגוונת. חדר גדול ונעים.
−ההזמנה דרככם כללה הסעה מהשדה למלון, בפועל חיפשנו אם יש נהג עם שלט עם השם שלנו, בדקנו אם יש נציג מהמלון ולא היה שום גורם שהיה אמור לאסוף אותנו, מעהר לזה גם התקשרנו למלון והם אמרו שזה באחריות בוקינג ולא באחריותם. הקדמתם אותנו עם הפניה רצינו לפנות אליכם לקבל זיכוי על הנסיעה שעלתה לנו כ-45 יורו. ממתינה לתשובתכם.

+A Wonderful Stay with Excellent Service Overall, I had a wonderful stay at Corinthia Budapest. The hotel is grand, beautiful and exceptionally clean, with a stunning lobby and excellent facilities. Although the initial room arrangement on my first night was not ideal, the following day the manager personally showed me alternative rooms and arranged a complimentary upgrade to a fantastic suite. The suite was spacious and comfortable, with a separate living room, sofa bed, bedroom and two bathrooms. I really appreciated the staff’s efforts to make sure I was happy with my stay. The complimentary access to the Executive Lounge after the upgrade was an especially lovely bonus. The selection of snacks, hot food, soup and drinks was very good, making the experience even more enjoyable. The Royal Spa and swimming pool were also beautiful and relaxing. My only minor concern was that the room felt a little cold in October, as the heating was not switched on automatically. I only discovered at checkout that I needed to ask reception to turn it on. It would be helpful if the heating could be preset during the colder months. Apart from this small issue, I was extremely satisfied with my stay.

+The staff were welcoming, and friendly. The lobby was spacious and inviting. The hotel in general was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.
−There is room for improvement within the housekeeping. Whilst we enjoyed the stay, the room cleaning wasn’t great, and could certainly be improved.
