+The only good point was the location.
−Had a very bad start. Firstly we were not given the room we booked and when we enquired about our room we were told it wasn’t available and that it wasn’t as good as we were given. Not sure the truth was told. Way over priced for what we were given. The apartment was very unclean, stained carpet, mouldy shower, dirty basin that also had a dripping tap. Very dusty skirting boards and dirty windows. The kitchen was not clean with dirty crockery which we had to wash before using. The curtains were very light, almost see through and almost falling down in some areas. Also the television didn’t work. The whole place had a very unkempt feel about it. Overall a very unsatisfactory and disappointing stay. If we hadn’t paid before hand, we would have left. Will never stay there again.

“Disappointing”
+Reception person was excellent.
−Floor not vacuumed before our stay. Years of dirt between bath tub and shower. Property old and need of paint. Not working tv in lounge room behind one that was. Trouble with parking voucher so charged normal fee on top of what we paid the property, then told to get the excess fee back ourselves from the car park people.

“a nightmare i stayed five minutes and left”
+nothing location maybe
−no key for room having to share with ex prisoner a nice man in himself but sharing a bathroom also meant haring the whole apartment with NO capacity for air conditioning or heating on ability to open window and would have had to keep my door open pen all night into open shared lounge area to breath the place was a dump and people were coming and going doing drug deals ot in my room but door was open to outside joke jok joke

+This 2 bedroom apartment is in an excellent location, only a short walk to shops, restaurants and the Melbourne Museum.

+Great location and friendly, helpful accommodating staff. Staff arranged a ramp at the front door of apartment to facilitate wheelchair entry.
−Facility a bit outdated but okay. Shower door not able to be opened.

−Shared apartments have no locks, all your stuff is left in an unlocked room where the other tenants could access. No lock on the bathroom either, very little privacy, check in wasn’t great either

“Horrendous”

−Filthy. Heaps of cigarette butts piled up on the window. No lock on door.

“We definitely will not be back !”
+Location was very central and close to the city. Lygon Street restaurants, cafes etc short walk away. Tram was a couple of blocks walk through parklands which were lovely.
−Mostly everything else ie :- Staff advised our room had been cleaned just before we arrived - it had definitely not been cleaned as there were spill stains on the kitchen floor, opened used soap, shampoo bottles etc in shower and on basin. Hair in the basin and on the floors. We had clean towels and sheets (hopefully). The receptionist was leaving for the day but stayed to hand over the keys [which we were advised would be in an envelope at our room.] Only problem was we could not understand much of what she said as she mumbled under her breath and my hearing is excellent. The instructional video regarding the car parking is a nightmare.

“location great, the service needs vastly improving.”
+It was a large bed
−There was only one sheet and a light blanket which was very cold for the middle of Melbourne in winter. There was no additional heating in the room and we had to keep the door shut as we did not know this person who was in the other room. There was no shampoo. There was no coffee, tea, or milk.
