“Not as nice as it looks in the photos...”
+The hotel is in a very good location with easy access to restaurants, atms, supermarkets and pharmacies.
−We were disappointed with the hotel. The room is old and musty and the bathroom even mustier. There was no way to get rid of the smell of damp. On the first night, the central lights of the room worked but not for the 2nd and 3rd night. The state of the room was quite bad in that the floors were scratched and shelves and equipment old and weary looking. The staff at the counter was friendly. However, I didn't get any response when I wrote to ask about the wifi that wasn't working. We were told that we could ask for water to drink but there is never anyone at the reception whenever we tried to ask for some. The view from the room is also not as fantastic as some of the feedback from other clients make it sound. Yes we see the mountains but we also see a fair amount of dilapidated houses right under our balcony. The lights outside the room are super bright and I had difficulty falling asleep at night as the light shone through into our room.

“A basic but conveniently located stay with wonderfully helpful hosts and excellent transfer arrangements.”
+Great location right in the centre of the village and a very friendly welcome. The hosts also organised a driver who collected our luggage from the hotel four days later, picked us up in Ushguli after the Mestia-Ushguli hike and drove us to Kutaisi. Everything worked perfectly. The room was very basic but clean and had a private bathroom.
−Although everything was clean, the room still felt a little worn and slightly shabby, which is perhaps part of the charm of staying in this remote area. The mattress seemed quite worn out, and the breakfast was extremely basic and could easily be skipped.

−Kahvaltı biraz daha iyileştirilmeli. Odada kettle var, fincan var ama su ve kahve yok. Uzun süre kalan misafirler için oda temizliği sorulmalı.

+После 4 дней хайкинга - понравилось все :D Чистая, свежая постель, много полок в номере, чтобы разложить вещи. У нас был номер с видом прямо на горы. Довольно тихо внутри отеля, но шумновато снаружи до поздней ночи. Завтрак достаточный, но не обильный. Есть лаундри сервис, постирали быстро. Прямо под отелем - неплохой ресторан.
−Кран в душе протекал и капал, пришлось положить полотенце, чтобы не бесил.

“Great location and beautiful views, but the hotel itself could use some updating and more attention to detail”
+Great location with beautiful mountain views. We also appreciated being able to park our car for free right in front of the hotel. The girl at the reception was very kind, welcoming and helpful.
−The WiFi barely worked and the breakfast was very basic with little variety. The hotel overall felt quite dated, especially the bathroom - some of the fixtures were partially broken and the water pressure in the shower was very low. There were also some small details that made the stay feel a bit cheap, such as having a kettle and cups in the room but no tea or coffee, and extremely thin plastic disposable slippers.
