−The room was not the same as the photos you book with on booking .com and need same work done to it. Like kitchen cupboards need new hinges and same holes in the walls.

+Family friendly apartments in a central location with facilities easily accessible. And apartments contained everything needed which made it a home away from home type experience.
−Having 3 apartments on different floors with fobs that only allowed access to their individual apartment floor made it a little challenging for a group stay.

“Great views, poor/careless hospitality.”
+The location is wonderful, right in the heart of the Cairns Esplanade where there are numerous food options all within easy walking distance. Enjoy a morning run or walk on the esplanade path just across the road and enjoy the views of both the ocean and the mountains. The space is large and will easily accommodate 4 people.
−The place is rather run down and in need of a lot of tweaking. Paint stripping, exposed rust and general wear-and-tear of the property makes it look a little tired and outdated. If you're a lover of mirrors, you'll get a kick out of this place. The second bedroom has no air-conditioning and the fan was not working. This is a western facing room so the sun really heats the room up. Opening the windows invites the noises from the busy road below so it wasn't an ideal situation. We advised the hosts of the issue with the fan only to have to follow up with them as we struggled to get responses. They did apologise for the issue (eventually) and advised they'd make the effort to come and fix the problem... they did not. Our other guests (elderly parents) staying in that room found it incredibly uncomfortable which resulted in them moving to sleep on the couches in the living room. The hosts were made aware and still we failed to fix the issue. Hard to justify the amount of money we spent staying here with all of these aspects. We never received any follow up correspondence from the hosts after we checked out. Very poor form and quite frankly unacceptable.
