“Disappointing - surprise charges”
−Management failed to honor the pricing guaranteed by Booking.com. Property Manager told me to deal with Booking.com as they have no intention of resolving this issue. To me that's a final straw, especially that I've stayed with them on multiple occasions in the past. We typically visit Vail twice per year in spring & winter for skiing (min 7 nights each trip). Now, I'm taking my business elsewhere. All the other things folks are complaining about never really bothered me. It's an older property with lots of mileage on it and struggling maintenance/housekeeping. Also, I'm pretty fit in a good shape, so lack of elevator was not a big deal for me as it is for many others struggling with suitcases up those countless flights of stairs. Free parking used to be a nice perk, but since they decided to start charging for parking, relative attractiveness dramatically went away especially towards other properties located much closer to the ski lifts. Staff without basic hospitality training. Won't even smile to you unless you tip them. Security guy kicked my kid out of playroom because they are understaffed. If so, why am I paying extra fees for that playroom, uh..? I just canceled my upcoming

“Hermosa estancia con mi querida esposa!!!!”
+Vail es hermoso, esta un poco alejado del centro en complejo, pero el lugar tiene un servicio de transporte que te lleva el centro de ski. Tardas una media hora más o menos.
−Ninguno de los empleados de recepción habla en Español. Tuvimos un percance, que la el Manager del hotel lo supo resolver, gracias a mi hija que pudo hacer de traductora en linea.-

“Decent place to stay”
+Responsiveness of the staff. Found the coffee maker in our room broken, they sent another one quickly. Free shuttle to the lift is convenient.
−A bit far from the clubhouse where most of the recreational facilities are, pool, spa, saunas, etc. There is a mandatory charge of $35/day not included in the published rate.
“Great Resort”
+Overall, it was a very positive experience. The facilities are well maintained, the rooms feel updated, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The sauna, hot tubs, and pools are especially enjoyable in the evenings, and the shuttle service makes getting to the slopes very convenient. Staying in the Birch building may require using the stairs, but this was not a negative for us.

+El alojamiento es magnífico para una familia con hijos. Porque dispone de 1 hab privada sala y cocina completa y 2 baños
−Hay edificios que no tienen elevadores. Y son 4 pisos. También que el aire acondicionado está bloqueado. Entonces afuera hacia 0 grados y adentro morimos de calor con 70 grados
