“Comfortable, pleasant and relaxing”

+It's such a lovely place to stay (not my first time). The extra touches, like the bath robes and fresh milk were much appreciated. They clearly take pride in providing accomodation and service at a high level. Also love the decor.

−I booked a suite which was clearly described as having a separate bedroom, this is important because I don’t sleep well and can disturb my partner. There was no separate bedroom, merely a seating area. The room was right on the road and the cobbled roads made vehicle noise a nuisance. The room was decorated in a very particular style and was extremely dark throughout. Even with all the lights on it was simply depressing to be in the room. Also there were a number of diffusers creating an unpleasant smell. I suspect that to a particular audience this room would be wonderful, but I don’t believe it works at all for the general hotel staying population..

+Fantastic welcome from Jack, lovely team throughout the hotel & restaurant. Food best I ate in a week touring the Channel Islands, including others at more than twice the price. Room every convenience, fresh, clean, comfortable.
−Almost impossible to fault! Here you go, trying very hard to find something which might be improved, the bench seating to the side of the restaurant is slightly too low to comfortably mate up with the dining tables! It really is that good!
