“Went for a murdered friends funeral. The trip was never gonna be great.”
+Easy check-in.
−The stuff the sprayed on the bathrooom window to obscure the view in had parts that were scraped off, so people could see in. The back of the hotel where the window was was really dark and it just felt like you were being watched.
+Clean room
+Adequate room for a short night's sleep on a long road trip. Noisy, in room AC machine. Comfortable bed. Abundant hot water in a powerful shower.
+Old
+The husband and wife team running this place were extremely friendly but the room was infested with termites. Like as in I found multiple termites in my sheets as I was trying to sleep. Had a couple large grasshoppers in there too. Also, no chair to sit down in. Anyway, I wouldn’t stay there again unless the owners fumigated the place first.
“This is a safe and clean place you can bring your family to.”
+This is a good place to stay if you need to stop in Ballinger. The room was very clean. Much cleaner than at some hotel chains I've been to. This is only because of the owner and his dedication to making his hotel a good place. You can tell he cares. I did find it very nice to have Dish TV in the room along with the microwave and fridge.
−If the aim is to create a clean and quite place to stay then I can not think of a thing.
+Not many food options; pretty far away from town but it is quiet. For 1 night's stay its okay.
+The beds and pillows were very comfortable
−I have no complaints
+Room was old
