−Extremely Disappointing Experience - Poor Hospitality and Unprofessional Behaviour My experience at Sangita Backpacker Homestay was extremely disappointing. As a solo traveller, I expected basic hospitality, a comfortable room, and responsible communication. Unfortunately, none of these expectations were met. The room was extremely small and cramped, barely leaving enough space to move around comfortably. The overall experience was nowhere near what I expected from an online booking. I had informed the owner in advance that I would arrive in the morning. However, when I reached, her phone was switched off. I tried calling and messaging her for almost an hour without receiving any response. Eventually, I had to find another contact number on Google just to get assistance. This is unacceptable, especially when a guest has already booked and informed the host about their arrival. To make matters worse, they were apparently unaware that I had booked a single room. The owner's mother took me towards the dormitory and asked for my ID before properly showing me the room. When I asked to see the room first, she told me it would only be available after 12 PM. “SOLO TRAVELLER”
+Best-in-class stay in Siliguri! Excellent value for money and located in a prime location. The room was spotlessly clean, peaceful, and completely free from outside noise, making for a very comfortable stay. The aunty who manages the property is incredibly humble, kind, and welcoming. Her warm hospitality made Me feel right at home. Highly recommended, and I'd definitely love to stay here again...

“案外快適”
+外観は悪かったが、案外清潔で、蚊やゴキブリ等はいなかった。母娘のスタッフは親切だった。外観でびっくりしたが、予想よりは快適だったので、バスの乗り継ぎのために泊まるだけなら充分だと思う。
−他の口コミにもあったが、入口がわかりにくかった(JIO Storeの建物の真ん中の入口から階段で下に降りる)。部屋より廊下が汚く、下水が流れる溝が剥き出しなので、悪臭がした。

−Hard to find, owners dont even bother to put a clear sign helping guests locate it easily. Toilet has to be locked with a key after each use. This place is in a basement giving it a gloomy dungeon feel.. Would recommend travellers the other budget places in town for a proper stay
