“Old school motel with a view”
+Great room with an amazing view. Super close to downtown.
−No one in office for checkout. No coffee
+Beautiful views, great location. There was a gap under the hotel door. Bugs in the room. Urine from previous guest on the floor by the toliet. Not enough towels. Beds were not comfortable. Overall wasn’t great

−Dead bugs on floor, live bugs on ceiling and pillow. Smelled stale.

+Loved the retro vibe of the motel. It was surrounded by pastures and cows and beautiful views, but still close to town.

“We would stay here again, great value for the location / amenities. Really loved exploring Abingdon.”
+The location was fantastic, semi close to the interstate and within a mile or two of historic downtown. The view from our window was incredible, blue ridge mountains to the east, pastural scene to our south. The rooms were very large and recently remodeled. We like to stay in motor inns where our car is right outside the door and it is one floor.
−The air conditioner was kind of loud, we turned it to fan during the night so it wouldn't cycle on and off. We always hope for two chairs in a room so we can enjoy our coffee in the morning, but this one had only one desk chair, it was comfortable though.

+Was very nice and clean room. Quiet as well as view.
−Bed very uncomfortable. No drink or snack machine.
