“Comfortable, quiet, friendly hotel with excellent location”
+Breakfast was adequate. Only had continental breakfast so can't comment on the cooked breakfast. Location great. Staff extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. Quiet.
−TV in the room was difficult to operate. Shower only bathroom.

“Ok if you’re attending the races for convenience bit of a hike to the shops in the centre”
+The view in the restaurant
−The fact that full English breakfast has to be charged as an extra now only continental is included in the price

“All additional charges mean it isn’t good value.”
+Good location.
−Breakfast no longer included. Our previous stay included a cooked breakfast. This is now chargeable. A light option is included. Full breakfast should be included for the price as still charging the same rates! Very disappointed! £10pp for breakfast and an additional £20 for parking. Makes the overall cost very prices. The rooms are getting dated. Signs of wear and tear in the bathroom.

“Relaxing”
+Although on-site parking is limited, there was sufficient for us to park on-site: very convenient. Room was great: we were very fortunate to be given an upgrade to room 602. All Staff were friendly and helpful.
−Room lighting was surprisingly "dark". Continental breakfast could have been improved with some cold meat like thin sliced hams, salamis etc. as is usually present in Italy , Spain.

“Ok”
+Location is great and local parking is an advantage
−Don’t like dogs in hotel, especially when they bark a lot at night
