+we checked in and were escorted to the room by a hotel employee. When the employee opened the door, he immediately realized the room had not been cleaned. We were surprised, but offered to go out and get food to give them time to clean the room. Only after we made that offer were we told that the cleaning crew had already left for the day, and the room could not be prepared. The only alternative the hotel could offer was a different room that did not include the private hot tub and was located on the fourth floor, with no elevator. This was not acceptable to us, as it did not match what we had reserved and paid for. We asked to cancel the reservation, but were told that since the booking was made through Expedia, the hotel could not cancel or issue a refund directly.

+The staff was amazing! Super nice friendly and helpful. The construction noise made it hard to sleep in the mornings but they gave us complementary drinks to make up for it because it’s really not their fault. They went above and beyond with the decor and hospitality. Highly recommended. The roof top sunsets were beautiful. There’s no tvs lol I thought that was funny lol but very nice hotel

+So amazing, the staff were so friendly and very welcoming since the moment we arrived. The room was very clean and I loved all every aspect of the space was decorated and Tulum inspired. Will come back to this resort again for the value and comfortability. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot and a cute cafe very close by for food. Overall very niche hotel from the all inclusive resort vibe it’s different but awesome!
