「A natural, calm and homely stay amongst the hillside tea plantations.」
+The friendly staff made it feel like you were in a home rather than a hotel . Fabulous walks and bird watching available . Dinner was a set menu which we enjoyed as we tried local food and had plenty. The salt water pool was refreshing with the tea plantation to the side.
−It was very rainy which made the property have a slight damp feel . Maybe a mosquito net over the bathroom window to let out the steam and not create moisture. It did give a more natural fe to the location though !

「Great location」
+Great location, delicious food.
−Showers were impossible to get right heat/cold water balance. Gave up in the end.

「Beautiful location but rooms should be improved.」
+Great location, calm and surrounded by beautiful nature. Very friendly staff & great dinner with various options. Beautiful garden, offering afternoon tea with cake and bird watching in the morning.
−The rooms very quite humid and strongly smelled like mold, there were also a lot of insects :(

「Outstanding Evening Dinners」
+Quality and Breadth of food for the evening set menu was outstanding Management and staff were excellent and focussed on over delivering the service offering Cool(er) temperature and swimming pool very relaxing Enjoyable guide-led walks
−nit picking... hammocks could be more comfortable or mixed with single ones with canvas or cotton sheet

+This place is amazing, Makes you feel like you are at home. Starting with the welcoming and professional staff, Large rooms, cool facilities like The 1st floor of the restaurant which has a piano and a large collection of travel books and journals. Nice pool which looks on the tea plantations. The highest point of the property which has the best view in Munnar.
−No AC, everything is a bit outdated, some might like it, it adds to the charm. we used a provided fan for cooling.
+Wunderschöne Lage mitten in den Kardamombergen und mit einer Teeplantage vor dem Estate. Alle Mahlzeiten haben wir im Hotel eingenommen welche wirklich sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich waren. Jedoch besteht auch fast keine andere Möglichkeit als die Mahlzeiten dort einzunehmen. Der Pool ist sehr schön in die Anlage eingebettet. Schöner Aussichtpunkt mit Blick über das Tal. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat uns geholfen eine Tour durch die Teeplantagen zu organisieren.
