+Moc hezké rustikální ubytování přímo v džungli, kousek od centra, cca 20 minut pěšky. Vila na pláži neměla chybu.
−V porovnání s jinými resorty v Thajsku velmi slabá snídaně. Ocenili bychom především větší výběr lokálních jídel.

「By far my worst experience in Thailand: terrible service, a poorly maintained room, disappointing breakfast, aggressive」

−As someone who travels extensively, knows Thailand very well, and regularly stays in guesthouses, this was by far my worst experience. I booked a Villa for 3,800 THB per night (around €100), hoping to treat myself and my partner. At this price in Thailand, you can usually find excellent resorts with great service and facilities. Unfortunately, nothing met expectations. The check-in was cold and rushed, with no proper welcome or information. The room was in terrible condition, poorly maintained, with holes in the windows, mosquitoes, and a dirty bathroom. No mosquito repellent was available. There was also construction noise throughout the day and early evening. Breakfast was probably the worst buffet I have experienced in Thailand: poor-quality food, very limited fruit, no table service, no coffee or juice offered, and staff constantly on their phones. The checkout experience was equally unacceptable, with an aggressive attitude and staff waiting outside as if we had done something wrong, despite the 10 a.m. departure time. The location is also inconvenient, around 45 minutes on foot from the main area. For 3,800 THB per night, the value for money is simply unacceptable. I rarely l

+Of course, it always depends on what kind of person you are. As a flight attendant and an pasionate traveler, I enjoy 5-star hotels when I’m working, but for my personal trips, I prefer something a bit more unique. Viking Natures Resort fits that description perfectly. In my opinion, it’s the best place to stay on Koh Phi Phi. It’s a fantastic property, situated right on the beach yet tucked away in the jungle, offering bungalows across various price ranges,almost all of which face the sea. The beach is ideal; you can even do a bit of snorkeling, and it’s still possible to swim there even at low tide. The food is good, and the staff are lovely. What I particularly appreciate is that everything on the premises is crafted from natural materials,every chair is a unique, individual work of art made of wood. There are no plastic chairs or sun loungers; instead, you relax on the beach in comfortable beanbags. The bungalow balconies are equipped with hammocks so inviting that you’ll never want to get out. The main town is easily accessible on foot. You could also take a long-tail boat, though you should be aware that by doing so, you become part of the noise generated by the many boats in
