「Loud train nearby and never had our room cleaned」
+Where do I even begin with our experience at this hotel. We booked this stay as part of our two-week Oregon coastal and inland road trip and chose to stay here for two nights, the night before Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving night. Upon arrival, the hotel looked similar to the photos online. The lobby was very cute, with a Christmas tree and cool decor. The art bar was a fun feature during our stay; they had crayons and paper available so you could sit and draw for as long as you’d like. The hotel also has three restaurants, though we didn’t dine at any of them. Valet service was prompt and efficient,we never had to wait long for our car. The lobby also offered complimentary snacks, including sodas, water, chips, granola bars, and peanut bags, which was a nice touch. On our first day, we walked over to Fifth Street Market while it was still open and explored the area, which is essentially downtown. The room itself was large and spacious with a king-size bed. While the bed was comfortable, the sheets were very stiff and not the most comfortable. The bathroom was on the smaller side but had a walk-in shower and plenty of space to store our toiletries and personal items. The room also in

「Perfect」
+perfect location for an enjoyable stay. Staff was personable and very attentive. plenty of great places to eat within walking distance.
「Not worth your money.」
+My husband and I recently stayed at the Gordon for a conference I was attending. The first issue we faced, although we didn’t know it yet. Was that when we booked and checked in we reserve two nights the front desk only reserved one night for us so in the middle of the day, the next day, I got a text message that they were going to move all of our stuff out of our room. While I was in my conference, Luckily, my husband was able to stop that from happening. In our room, you could hear everything the train the noise from the alley shopping center next-door people walking and worst of all. It sounded like pipes at burst in the walls. Ridiculously overpriced for the quality of room.

「Downtown Eugene gem.」
+Excellent location and great bar/restaurants. Affordable and staff super-friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.
「Great hotel!」
+Love The Gordon Hotel! Just had our 4th stay here while visiting family. Great location, great amenities, great staff. Our go-to when visiting Eugene!
「Some Good, Some Not」
+Pet fee is out of line. Light controls at bed are not right. Valet parking is a pain. Location is OK. Lobby is fine. Free drinks are not really. No coffee after 3 pm. The valet made us store tools and other things in our SUV in the hotel. Almost an SNL like scene. Nest time, if there is a next time, I will bring boxes of food for St. Vincent. Then, the valet will get a work out.

「Love this hotel」
+This hotel is my favorite in Eugene. It's clean, modern, comfortable, and the service is excellent. Great location with several good restaurant options onsite and within walking distance. But seriously, the bed is so comfortable.
「Phenomenal service-great location」
+This hotel is very comfortable and in a wonderful location. Having the farmer’s market within a few blocks and the street market right there made the stay very entertaining!
「Amazing staff and hotel」
+I have stayed at The Gordon multiple times since my son started to attend U of O, and I love it. This trip was stressful as I was coming to see my son who had injured his foot. On my way to Eugene, I then received disturbing news about my sister, so when I arrived at The Gordon, I was very stressed. The staff is amazing. They are so kind and caring. The gal at the reception went out of her way to ask if anything could be done to help me. I truly love The Gordon so much. It is one of my favorite hotels in the world.
「Lost their focus」
+For whatever reason The Gordon Hotel now requires everything be removed from your car or they won't park it. They still charge a $25 valet fee and they still make you take a ticket indicating they have no responsibility for theft or damage. That was so strange for a high-end hotel. Beyond that the staff and managers just seem poorly trained to provide good guest service. This hotel has gone down hill over the past several years. I can't recommend it.
