「Lovely friendly pub at heart of village.」
+Very friendly staff who were prepared to go the extra mile. Location was very quiet so made for a good night’s sleep.

+The room was nice The weather was lovely so we could leave the window wide open all night which was lovely Great selection of food Great beer
−A little bit pricey but we knew this when we booked it. It was the only one we could afford near Brampton. We had to drive a little way out of the town to get there but we already knew this during the time of booking

+The Blacksmiths Arms is a charming English countryside pub. Really nice old building. Nice bathrooms. The people were friendly.

「What's not to like」
+Beautiful traditional English Country Inn. Lovely home cooked food served in lovely restaurant. Attentive, professional and friendly staff. Well equipped rooms. Sleepy village location

「Given the price of the property, I felt slightly let down」
+Nice village location and received an excellent welcome from the manager. The room was so-so (the bathroom was much bigger than the bedroom) and contrary to what was advertised there was no view. They did look after my bike for me which is a big plus
−At dinner, I felt ignored by certain serving staff and in all honesty my choice of chicken turned out not to be a great idea as it was too tough.

+A tremendous spot in a beautiful small town. A great selection of local beers and a pretty decent dinner as well.
