「Good deal if you’re looking for a less expensive accommodation」
+Couldn’t have picked a better location. Hot shower In the bathroom is a nice surprise.
−Had to ask to move to a different suite because the first suite smelled strongly of cigarettes. The suite we ended up with is much smaller, the a/c didn’t cool the room evenly. There’s no partition for the shower area in the bathroom.

「A decent stay in a charmingly old place in need of better maintenance and improvements」
+I liked that the place is located at the heart of the city and is within walking distance to shopping, and a tricycle ride to some city sites. The staff are friendly and respond promptly to guests' queries and concerns.
−I was disappointed that our room, along with some others, had an unpleasant smell. There were issues with the restroom, such as a non-functioning toilet and visible grime. The place is charmingly old, but it needs a facelift and general cleaning.

+Nothing
−The walls where a mess with rough plaster everywhere, pipes sticking out of the wall with no end caps and at an unsafe height. Windows appeared to have not been cleaned inside or out in years and I just couldn’t see standing over the toilet one foot on each side to take a shower with a hand held shower head that was plumbed to the toilet water obviously cold water only.
