−Lake view rooms are an exaggeration if you end up on the second floor. Hotel was not flexible to provide another room. We had a noisy neighbor who’s dog was yowling the whole night. We complained twice and once again, there was nothing the hotel could do.

「Convenient and clean」
+We were there 2 nights for my father’s heart surgery. We had 2 rooms. Both were very nice and clean. My dad’s wife had breakfast/ room service one day and was impressed. Our last day we had a very delicious breakfast at 301 restaurant and our server was very good. Location is great!! We could walk to many restaurants, to the bridge and canal park too!! Being only 2 blocks from St. Mary’s was nice too weather was nice, just keep in mind going there is uuuuppp hill!! They also have a discounted hospital rate which was nice. All staff were very friendly. I am sure we will be back, hopefully when the weather is nice enough to enjoy beautiful Duluth.

「Great Stay」
+Add a coworkers urging I moved to a hotel downtown, which was a great move as there is much within a short walking distance of the Sheraton. Overall, the hotel was great from check-in where the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful to check out. I really enjoyed the shower, good water, pressure, hot water and a overall clean bathroom. The room was large bed, quite comfortable and in incredible view of the lake from the upper floors. There is a small work table as well as a couch, making it a very comfortable and functional room. The hotel restaurant was also very good for dinner. The Sheraton club lounge had a good breakfast, hot coffee, and a friendly hostess. I would definitely consider staying again and recommend this hotel

「Thanksgiving Stay」
+My wife and I had a wonderful time here - the room was clean, the staff was exceptional, and the accessibility was super easy. However, what is most impressive is that we purchased an add-on for the room (hot chocolate upon arrival) and in the mix of the busy day it was forgotten. Less than I week later we received a box from the Sheraton with hot chocolate mix, home-made cookies, candy, and a hand-written card. They went above and beyond customer service - and I am still in shock with their thoughtfulness for someone like myself. Thank you!!!

「Not our favorite part of town…」
+We stayed here recently when in town for a wedding. We normally stay down by the lake, this place offered a group rate with the wedding. Really wish we stuck to what we knew! The hotel is fairly modern / updated which was nice and our room was nice but (1) the door didn’t lock properly and the maintenance guys didn’t resolve the issue when they came and (2) it is in an area of Duluth that had a tougher crowd than you see in the more touristy areas by the lake. Our room even had a sign by the door reminding you to use both the deadbolt and the slider when in the room. Parking is in a ramp connected to the hotel; it was free for us but the front desk warned that is changing soon and likely to have a parking fee. If this was our first impression of Duluth, we may not have wanted to go back to the area, honestly…
