「Disappointing」
+Spacious and warm rooms, easy parking.
−No footpath directly outside and hard to cross road. Uncomfortable beds. An additional £50 fee required on check in. Small shower. Needs lots of TLC.

「Convenient for work. Quiet room, comfortable bed.」
+Convenient for work. I was given a quiet room as requested. Check in and out quick Car parking included in price.
−The TV channels had no signal. Heating was switched off and couldn’t switch heating on despite having a radiator in the room.

+Good breakfast. Location.
−Add some more variety to the continental breakfast with some ham and cheese. Coffee and tea cups too small. Plumbing old, poor flushing in the lower floors.

「Very convenient hotel with some good features.」
+Location great and the breakfast offered a good range of items. The staff were very friendly. Bed comfortable and electric shower good.
−Furniture in the lounge area is very worn and unattractive. The bedroom is ok - but a bit dismal. It is time for some refurbishment I think.

「Nice but needs modernisation」
+Nice enough sized room , good breakfast . But starting to look old .
−Used to be a beautiful up market hotel , but now looks tatty and run down in places old pine furniture in rooms and generally needs updating in my opinion . Window catching completely snapped .

−Looks tired in places and there are a lot of stairs to the first floor as there are no lifts.

「It was ok. But nothing jumped out as being amazing」
+It was ok but fairly basic for what it was
−Putting a £50 hold on my credit card for a week. The place looks very dated and needs a refresh Insufficient supply of tea/coffee/milk and biscuits in room - felt like a minimum was provided - i would have expected double for the price point Why is toilet paper always in short supply in rooms - Having to ask for more isn't appropriate all the time. I'm not going to be eating it or stealing it - so make sure there is sufficient
