「Faulty Towers 2026」
+Did it have any redeeming feature - I can see the sea, if I stand up to look out the window. I can hear it though if that's a bonus? The lady on reception and the staff in the breakfast room were lovely and friendly.
−Where do I start, the room I was booked into was occupied when I tried to get in and the receptionist was running out the door when I went to sort it out. I had phoned earlier about a late check in and they were going to leave a key for me to access the room. Can you imagine.... Well, what a good job that I turned up early enough to check in... however I might have slept with a chair in front of the door once they gave me an empty room. What was worse, it's three floors up steep stairs and the lift doesn't work, I didn't realise it includes a free workout as part of the package. Breakfast was interesting, I must have missed the memo that said it's ok to go down in your pjs (no dressing gown). And the dining room was empty but they chose to sit right next to me (bit like the empty car park syndrome). The stairs are very steep throughout but more so getting to the breakfast room. Beware the fire doors - unless you enjoy theme parks - you might be catapulted down the stairs. Seriously they are not set up for anyone with mobility issues or even those who are mobile but struggle. The shower was less shower and more a light drizzle and you need to be a giant to adjust the shower head. It

「Basic but comfortable」
+The staff couldn't do enough very polite and friendly the cook from breakfast was amazing and stunning breakfast . The beds are very comfy and clean , it's not posh but does the job .
−Our window was broken and a cold draft and noise travel in alot louder like we were stood outside, the floors are very uneven .

+The hotel was clean, very quiet but that's probably due to when we went, and the staff were friendly. It's in an excellent location up at the North end of the promenade.
−The property is rather dated. The bathroom in our room didn't have any towel rails, so there was nowhere to hang them. Nice TV but it hadn't actually been tuned for any terrestrial channels. The biggest issue was parking. Out front there is parking meter but limited to 4 hours. Behind, there was no chance at parking - the roads were crowded. There was a council carpark about 5-10 minutes walk away that had 24 hour parking for £7/day which is what we ended up using.
