「Fantastic, highly recommend.」
+We arrived at 8.20pm & reception was still open. It was hot but when we got to our room they had put the cooling on for us. We had travelled from Canberra for school tennis trials so we appreciated the wonderful service that they provided. The room was big & clean & the bed was so comfortable.

「Not what I'd call a pleasant experience」
+The advertising images certainly do not reflect the current state of the premises. Appears to be in the middle of some room renovations however I certainly didn't get one of those, the room (15) had a very strong smell of mould or sewer. The room was tidy & clean but run down. The pool was shut down & in a terrible state of repair, on an extremely hot weekend. The receptionist lady was very pleasant when I booked in on the Friday afternoon. The reason I chose the Parkhaven was the fact it had a restaurant but alas it was also closed for renovations. Certainly is not a "resort" as advertised nor was it worth the money they charge. I've stayed in much better places for that sort of money.

「Value for money」
+Excellent service, easy after-hours check in, friendly staff, and the room was comfortable with everything I needed. Great value for money.
+Good, clean rooms. Internet was fast and a short walk to town

「Quiet with easy parking」
+Had a room on 1st floor, it was nice & quiet. Plenty of easy parking. The room was a good size, bed was comfy and handy Indian restaurant nearby.
+Property was very clean. And location was perfect for a young family. With plenty of food options and playground next door.

「Certainly not a resort!」
+Very disappointed to say the least! The bed was comfy and the shower had good water pressure but kept on going lukewarm to cold and constantly had to be adjusted, shower bowl filled up fast which you stood in a pool of water and had to quickly end your shower to not have an overflow of water going everywhere, drain on the outside of the shower had bubbles from the soaps etc of the shower drainage. The door handle of the bathroom door was the toilet paper holder. The room had a mouldy sewage smell which was more dominant after the shower was used. The room was very noisy and could hear every cough, fart, shower, toilet flushing and conversations going on in the rooms next door. The balcony rooms are not wheelchair friendly as there were stairs to lug your bags etc up to access your room. The Indian restaurant has beautiful food and reasonably priced. Rooms were of a good size and the free parking was great. This motel is certainly not a resort and the photos of the property are deceiving and not the motel I pre booked and expected.

「Clean and comfortable」
+Centrally located Hotel and our room had recently been renovated. Staff were great and the bed was very comfortable( king )
+Don't let the "old" looking appearance of the outside of the property fool you. The inside is fantastic. Very clean spacious, I booked the family room. Very quiet. Hamish was very welcoming on arrival it felt like I talking to an old mate Only down fall. You can not check in early, as they are not onsite until 2 pm.And with 3 very tired children
