「An ok stay」
+It was ok nice bathroom ok bed basic facilities
−Doors need to be anti slam very noisy with other guests coming and going slamming doors Also the lady who booked us in (2nd stay 2nd time we have dropped on her) has an attitude like the customer is an inconvenience spoils your stay

「York Suite....very nice stay.」
+The York Suite was very comfortable,clean and warm, ground floor as requested with great seaview....a couple of downsides to point out...We went to breakfast at 0900 ( was supposed to be open till 0930), but place was deserted and unlit, the hot buffet servery completely closed, though staff member showed us to the only table prepared as we were last booked to eat,..she took order at table, for chef to cook from scratch (which sort of dampened the leisurely breakfast experience fir me and 12yr old grandaughter).Great scrambled eggs tho!.. Also the Service door leading to upper floor stairs,directly opposite our room,was extremely noisy,as constant loud squeaking and banging when opening and closing.the door, Very annoying when in bed,as door is 3 feet from toom!....arrester needs adjusting to calm the release and return of the door...simple 2 minute maintenance job..I mentioned it to lady on checkout.
−See above, plus the evening bar food took over an hour to get to the table,was overcooked and very overpriced..more like London prices we have to pay, so we only ate there on that one occasionShame really.

+Breakfast was lovely and a nice room.
−There was no signal for the TV in the room. The place is being renovated with some building work going on and this may have knocked out the tv in several rooms. The manager did refund some of the room cost and did what they could to fix the problem

+Fabulous location
−New refurbished room, great breakfast but the eggs were on the cold side. Stayed in room 24 and there was a bit of a smell from The carpet by the far window
