「Will be back, super friendly staff.」
+The staff tried very hard; they were kind and friendly.
−The aircon in the rooms needs more maintenance. I changed rooms twice to get a room that was cool

「Beach front hitel near the boat terminal」
+This beach front hotel is located not far from the Karimunjawa boat terminal. The rooms are comfortable and the restaurant amazing with live music during sunset. The food is very good and the breakfast tasty as well. I only rate it 3 because I didn’t had water to shower ( it seems reading the hotel reviews It wasn’t the first time) even though I informed the reception nothing happened to resolve the problem. They just ignored the problem.
−Service is really bad ( not the restaurant and bar but the reception, maintenance )!

+Lovely beach location
−Not the most up to date - but good enough for a one night stay. Can’t say I’d be terribly happy if I was spending the entire week here.

「Nice beachfront」
+Very nice beach setting, with a nice pier restaurant. Nice pool as well. Probably your best choice in Jepara
−Hotel is a little run down and is in need of renovation. A little out of town if this matters to you.

「Awful」
+Departure in the morning... there was a lovely view from the pool area
−We stayed here for one night ahead of an early ferry departure and unfortunately, it was a really poor experience. The room smelled strongly of sewage and felt like sleeping in sealed in a box. It felt like no one had been in the room for days. We arrived around 7pm and, with hindsight, should have asked to change rooms, but after a long day we just wanted to rest you shouldn't have to do that! Big mistake , the air conditioning didn't work, and it made for a truly awful night’s sleep in stifling conditions with an horrific smell. On a more positive note, the restaurant was basic but served decent food, and there’s a lovely sitting area on the pier which we enjoyed in the evening. Sadly, that’s about the only highlight of what was otherwise a very disappointing stay.
