+The hotel is tucked into an authentic medieval building. It was fascinating, and I'm impressed the way they fit rooms and a modern bathroom into the space!
−We were on the op floor and I got tired of climbing those tight spiral staircases. But that's what you pay for authenticity.

+Sehr gute Lage. Bushaltestelle gleich vor dem Hotel. Trotz Wochenende war es im Zimmer sehr ruhig. Geräumiges grosses Zimmer. Leider war das Brot beim Frühstück nicht frisch.

−Bad mit defekter Dusche (fehlendes Teil der Duschtüre). Alles Alt, was ok ist wenn gepflegt. Ist es aber nicht. Laut, da die Fenster den Lärm von der Straße nicht gut dämmen. Frühstück ab 8 Uhr. Abbestellen oder zumindest einen Kaffee gibt's nicht. Niemand da vor 8 Uhr.

+Die Lage war gut, mitten in der Altstadt Bern. Das Bett und das Badezimmer war sauber.
−Unser Zimmer war im Dachgeschoss des 4. Stock zwischen einer dreckigen Estrichtüre und einem sehr dreckigen Lavabo. Es gab keinen Fluchtplan für Notfälle. Die Küchenzeile wurde wahrscheinlich lange nicht benutzt und war klebrig. Das Frühstück wurde an den Tisch gebracht, das Brot war hart und auch der Rest war nicht frisch. Für einen Kaffe aus der Maschine hätte man extra bezahlen müssen. Dieses Hotel ist wirklich nicht zu empfehlen.

「Great location, comfortable room, quiet」
+It's a bit of a hike from the train station with the luggage, but once you get there, the location is fantastic. I got a single room. I love that there was a little desk and chair by the window and the view was great -- you could see up to the rose garden, and of course from the rose garden I could see my room, so that was pretty cool. The breakfast was excellent and a real treat considering the cost of meals in Switzerland. The room was quiet and comfortable, and there was even a little sitting area set up, which I think was on another twin bed. The staff was friendly but because they're managing a bar/restaurant, they're sometimes not immediately available.
−No issues at all with this place -- I'd stay again.

「Gute Lage aber sehr schlechts Frühstück」
+Gute Lage in der Altstadt
−Zu grosse/dicke Kopfkissen, Zimmer sehr klein, nur eine Bettdecke für zwei,, sehr hellhörig im Haus, Frühstück katastrophal (Brot war schon fast hart, nur Filterkaffee aus der Thermoskanne, Gurken/Tomaten/Schinken schmeckte nicht frisch), Personal ok aber nicht besonders herzlich und engagiert.
