「Thank you. Staff was excellent!」
+I liked the friendly and welcoming staff as soon as we entered. The room was spacious and spotless and quiet after a long day of hiking. Staff upgraded our room with a spectacular view. Would definitely come back.
−I would have appreciated knowing that the hot tub was not in working order when I booked. It may have impacted our decision to stay because we were very sore after our 11 hour tour and were looking forward to a hot tub.

「We will be looking elsewhere for our next stay.」
+We come to Banff at least 3 times a year, and we usually stay at Mount Royal, the location is in the middle of everything, staff are very friendly, and the rooftop hot tub is wonderful.
−However this trip was a disappointment. The hot tub was “temporarily out of order” when we asked if it would be up a running at some point during our 3 night stay we were told it wasn’t working until at least mid-November, which in our opinion was more of long-term issue. We asked if the room price would be reflected in the lack of available amenities and got a run around answer. The hotel room itself was clean enough, but the hallways were very disappointing, stains on the carpets were hard to ignore and really not appealing, and every day we were having to dodge piles of laundry, garbage bags, cleaning carts. Which is understandable when staff are flipping rooms in the morning, but this was all day, and added to the place feeling untidy.

「Unbeatable location and great value」
+Unbeatable location. It is next to bus station and Roam shuttle stops (both ways). It is exactly inside the downtown core, and walkable to everywhere in Banff city center..

「Great location」
+Perfect location. This was our second stay at the Mount Royal Hotel. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff very engaging and friendly. The housekeeping staff were also very friendly and happy to assist. Would highly recommend this hotel.

+Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer waren sauber, schön eingerichtet und das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich. Auch die Lage war einwandfrei. Lediglich über das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis lässt sich streiten.

「Duur maar prima verblijf in Banff」
