+Mooie ligging, schitterende tuin, lekker eten en goeie gastheer.
−De muggen 😅 en jammer dat het zwembad niet (meer) in gebruik is. Dit zou echt van toegevoegde waarde zijn geweest.

「Heerlijke tijd gehad!」
+Johan was friendly & food was good. We had a nice time. We loved the garden!
−Not that much, we had a really great time @Mahu Lidge. Only thing: It was difficult to go into the sea.

「Gastvrijheid erg goed!」
+De eigenaars waren super vriendelijk en gastvrij. Het eten was heerlijk!
−De hygiëne en schoonmaak moet veel beter. En veel achterstallig onderhoud. Zwembad voelde glibberig en stoelen erg vies/oud?

「Recommended place to stay and enjoy Saparua island」
+Bedroom, facilities, food and drink (beer!), flowers and plants in the area, view of the sea from its backyard, and mr.Johan's customer service.
−Rental motorbike is not advertised clearly. Needs to put a sign on the reception about this so that tourists wont miss the chance of renting a motorbike to go around the island. It would also be worthwhile to have a generator. Overall, its a pleasant experience staying here.

「A charming and wonderful getaway with superb hosts」
+This was the perfect getaway and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment there. This is a very old school lodge oozing with charm & beauty (the garden) but may not suit some. Johan was an absolutely fantastic host and was full of advice, guidance & information. He speaks very good English. I will definitely be returning.

+a great place to relax for a couple of days when waiting for a flight in/out of Ambon . 1.5 hours on a speedboat from Tulehu Harbour (about 40 mins drive from Ambon) . nice location next to a mangrove lagoon with a lovely garden . generous food portions and a very friendly host
−a lot of mosquitos in the room , the bed does have a net but bring bug spray
「Lease Islands Remote Retreat」
+The Lodge is run by a friendly and helpful English speaking local family. Over twenty bungalows in a coastal location all set within lovely and extensive gardens. There's also a pool and lots of sitting areas. The Lodge can arrange a taxi pick up from the ferry arrival on the other side of Saparua. They also arrange diving and snorkeling trips. Overall well worth a visit if you want to go away somewhere remote but want to have a high standard of accommodation and service.
−Half board is provided but the evening meals are only OK.
