「Great location, poor condition」
+It was very difficult to find anything positive about this accommodation. Perhaps the only real advantage was its location, close to the city centre and Amsterdam Centraal Station.
−The accommodation was quite disappointing. The staff came across as rather unhelpful, and the whole property feels quite worn and is clearly in need of at least some renovation. When I entered the room, I found used fast-food containers left on the table. When I brought them to reception, instead of receiving an apology, the receptionist simply said that he would criticize the housekeeper. The room itself was in poor condition. The furniture was noticeably damaged and the curtains were torn (see photo). I believe that at least replacing the curtains and making sure the room is properly cleaned would be possible even without major investment. The windows did not seal properly, so I could hear all the noise from the street. As the accommodation is close to the city centre, it was noisy throughout the night. Breakfast was also very basic, and I definitely would not say that I enjoyed it. Overall, this accommodation is probably suitable only for a short stay and for guests who are not very demanding.

+Great location of the hotel, the room is clean and everyday they change towels and clean the room. Also, the elevator is a plus. Breakfast is good, not very variate, but quality food and very good coffee.
−No street windows ( at least from our room).
