+Helpful staff & excellent if limited menu. Looking a little tired in places but a quiet base to explore this historic city & cathedral
「Overnight near Chatres」
+Comfortable room, pleasant staff. Restaurant poor, find somewhere else to eat.
「Not up to usual standards」
+Had to change rooms asnewly furbished rooms had lack of electricity to plugs and lights..The new room was nice to look at but was not very clean ie toilet was dirty under rim, flies on the counter in the bedroom under curtains, the sink was grimy. It's not what we have come to expect of the Ibis hotel in Luce. We have stayed here many times
+Room small. Bed large. Dinner and service disappointing. Breakfast good but wife just says ok.
+The staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast simple but adequate with something for everyone. The hotel is very tired and shabby. Secure night time parking was a bonus!
「3rd time a problem re restaurant availability」
+We have used this hotel twice a year since approx 2016 travelling home from our holiday. Staff have always been good but this is 3rd time we've been badly let down by them. Our stopover at this hotel is after a 400+ miles journey. 1st time - their kitchen was being renovated. 2nd time - we found out their kitchen is only open Mon to Thur (May - Oct). So we changed our o/night stop to Thur instead of a Fri. On this 3rd stay, the restaurant was not in use as it was a Bank Holiday in France! Bank Holidays in the UK doesn't stop hotels from serving their guests. Also, this is the second time that they have not honoured the Silver Member offer of 1 free beverage. This has been the only hotel that I have had a problem with regarding this offer. Issues - 1st time the restaurant was closed we had to go to the supermarket to buy food and drink to eat in the room. 2nd and 3rd time we had to go and buy a pizza to eat in the room. The pizza place even remembered us from the last time! The supermarket was also closed. At no time was there any information shared or message sent by the hotel to advise that the kitchen would be closed on any of the occasions. After 400+ miles drive the last thing
「Overnight stay」
+Overall everything was good, nice large bedroom and bathroom, downside was the toilet seat was loose and not fixed properly consequently if you weren't careful it could have been easy to fall off, why aren't these things repaired before people go in as the cleaners are obviously aware of this.
「This stay made Kyriad fans out of us」
+Worst Ibis stay ever. Hotel is very dated. Someone had obviously smoked in our room recently, room very cold, pubic hairs in the bath, bed rock hard. Only scrapped 2 stars due to the friendly helpful receptionist in the evening
+GOOD VALUE BUT COULD HAVE BOOKED CHEAPER BY GOING DIRECT TO THE HOTEL. STAFF EXCELLENT
+This overnight stay was a stop over from the south of france up to Calais, very easy to find and was a comfortable stopover to break our journey . Meal was good in the restaurant in the evening.
