「Awful and needing considerable improvement」
+A nearby hotel charged €150 for a single room so House Prosperity was much cheaper
−1) The owner/provider showed no interest in my arrival 2) The only communication I had was a youth commenting on my arrival “booking” 3) My passport/ identification documents were not requested by the owner/proprietor in violation of strict Portuguese law 4) The sheets were left on the bed for me to lay the bed 5) The fridge was left on with door open presumably to cool the room 6) The bedroom smelt musty 7) The basin in the bathroom was left full of water because of blockage in the waste pipe 8) The door latch was broken and could only be secured by locking with a key 9) Too many appliances were plugged into an extension lead socket causing potentially dangerous sparks 10) I briefly saw who I thought was the owner/proprietor prior to going to bed and early next morning sitting at a dining table completely indifferent to my presence. 11) There was no glass in the bathroom for use when brushing teeth 12) The view of the from the bedroom window was of an untidy garden with a ‘swimming pool’ described in the listing not much bigger than a hot tub 13) The internal decor, furnishings and overall standard of cleanliness was very poor 14) of the many accommodations I’ve stayed at during m
