「Excellent hotel for a few days exploring Lisbon」
+Great location, good breakfasts, lovely spotless superior double room with comfy bed, & surprisingly quiet for a city hotel. All staff were friendly & helpful.
−Had to think hard, so this is being picky….but to improve it, it would be good to have a dressing table and mirror and a decent hairdryer. But obviously I survived without both. Lovely hotel.

+Sehr schönes Zimmer mit eine genialen Terrasse. Toller Frühstücksraum und genial Roof Top Bar. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und ideal für Ferien.

+The property is in an excellent location and the staff were great . Rooms very comfortable
−Nothing to say against the property but it would have been good to be told in advance the roof top terrace bar wasn’t open one night as it has great views and a super place to unwind after exploring Lisbon

「The standard rooms are not good value for money.」
+The location in Chiado is excellent with numerous restaurants and shops. The reception staff are helpful and provide useful information to ensure an interesting and enjoyable stay in Lisbon.
−I stayed in a Superior room for four nights before going to Porto for four days and I enjoyed the room with the French doors and balcony very much. However, when I returned to the hotel for another four night stay, I was told that the only available room was a standard which was darker due to two very small windows which barely opened. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the room, I was told that they were completely booked and there was nothing they could do. I think they should have showed me in advance what a standard room looked like so I could have cancelled the reservation in advance. I decided to shorten my trip by two days mainly because of the room and I had to incur the cost of the room as well as changing my flight. I believe this hotel should be more forthcoming about the discrepancy between the different rooms in order to give guests a fair idea of what they should expect given the fact that these are not inexpensive rooms.
