+The room was lovely and big with a comfy bed, with a lovely view. Staff were friendly
−The decor was a bit tired and there were building works going on although the hotel did warn us of this in advance.

「Please carry out the upgrading as soon as you can because the location is excellent and to get people to come back to us」
+The property was in a beautiful location and the staff were excellent and helpful albeit we had asked for an earlier check-in because we were attending a wedding but one of the rooms was not available which caused a bit of inconvenience!
−The property is in bad need of renovation and upgrading. The rooms definitely could do with upgrading. At the moment I would rate it as two or three star on the accommodation.

+Country house feel in a quiet location offering excellent food and service.
−Definitely in need for updating in some areas (ongoing). Room 19 is inadequately insulated for noise from the adjacent room.

「When the whole hotel has been refurbished it will be a wonderful place to stay.」
+Lovely quiet location and very friendly staff. We enjoyed all the food and it was well presented.
−We were made aware of building renovations being carried out. It was very dusty in the hotel and the smell of damp plaster was very strong. Our room was very dark and old fashioned and definitely in needed of refurbishment. We had a booked a superior double but to us this was a basic room.

「Lovely stay in fabulous hotel」
+Lovely hotel beautifull location . Staff excellent and welcoming Room spotlessly clean Breakfast superb
−No radiator on but sorted with heater in room Shower curtain rings missing didn't want to wet floor so used bath instead . But no real problem as we were aware rooms are in the process of being refitted . We would visit again and look forward to see refurbished room
