「We had an absolutely wonderful stay, made even more perfect by the incredible couple running the mot」
+I must say, this place was extremely well kept by the couple. We did not expect the comfort as we randomly booked the place but the place we landed in was flawless, comfortable and with all the amities one wants. This place is under rated on the internet and other booking sites, however kudos to couple looking after it extremely well. Both are welcoming and friendly.
−Nothing, to be honest, we could think of. Everything was perfect.

「Perfectly fine for a one night stop」
+Extremely friendly owners that made us feel very welcome. Good quality beds. Solid shower. Decemtly blinding curtains for keeping lights out
−Road is nearby so depending on traffic and if you are a light sleeper this may wake you up several times. Possibly mid njght as well. Bring wax / ear plugs to solve

「Great hosts」
+The location worked perfectly for us. We were cycling from Blenheim to Ward (on the new "Whale Trail" - Picton to Kaikoura - yet to be completed - April 2026) returning the next day - about 74 kms one way.
−You need to take all food and drink that you require. There are no onsite services and no local eateries.

+Our stay was very comfortable, there was plenty of room and it was very clean. Very short drive to a beautiful beach, and there are two nice places to eat near by.

「Too noisy..」
+Friendly welcome. Fantastic shower. Lovely tidy clean rooms.
−Heard every truck that went past. ..all night. Double glazing would help. I Read most of the reviews and none mentioned the Traffic noise. Sorry I wouldn't stay again. Unless was double glazed.
