「Never again. Awful.」
+The location was good
−The air conditioning was very loud in the room, both breakfast and dinner were cold and were sent back. The manager since has contacted me with a £20 goodwill gesture after spending nearly £300 at this hotel over the weekend. The room cleanliness was of a 2/3 star hotel. The tv wasn’t working properly.

「Fine as long as there isn’t a fire alarm.」
+It was clean and well equipped. The staff we spoke to were friendly.
−The hotel is generally fine although the location is quite isolated. Our main issue was the way a fire alarm, which happened after 10pm on the night of our stay, was handled. We completely understand that these things happen - however it seems that the hotel needs to review both their processes and their equipment. When the fire alarm went off we followed fire procedure and walked down the stairs from the 6th floor, out of the building and round to the front, where a number of other guests had convened. At no point did we see or hear any members of staff from the hotel. When the alarm stopped there were still no members of staff anywhere giving information - as the weather was very stormy, we all decided to re enter the building although we had not been advised it was safe to do so. Once in the main reception area there was one staff member saying that it had been false alarm caused by a guest having a very steamy bath. Although we understand that these things happen, we were disappointed that the staff did not seem to be trained in fire procedures and were therefore unable to show a proper duty of care to the guests. 「I’ll definitely be back!」
+Staff were absolutely kind! Room was nicely kept and good temperature. Swimming pool was really nice and food at the restaurant was amazing!

「Comfortable stay」
+Clean, polite staff, has swimming pool and steam available for guests staying with the hotel. Easy access from freeway, close to offices.

+Great staff.great breakfast choice ,comfortable room and great facilities.
−TV had no ability to view what actual programmes were on each channel(we had to use the internet on our phones to see what was on each channel)

「Lovely hotel, rooms, bar area, restaurant and staff welcoming and would happily sty again.」
+Hotel was lovely, rooms were comfy and had everything we needed. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating, they made sure I had a table nearest the breakfast buffet, due to mobility issues. Breakfast was amazing and lots of choice, compliments to the chef! We used the spa facilities, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, all good. 2 mins walk to park and ride so we caught the bus into Reading town centre.
−Nothing to dislike. Would only say I would’ve liked a jacuzzi but that’s my preference, nothing against the hotel.
