「Amazing bed, great breakfast, good value for a Marriott」
+Amazing bed, now I want to buy one for home (they sell them for $5k). Now that I know what a good bed feels like, I only want to stay at Marriott. The bed alone justifies staying here, but everything else was also good: Big room, double the size of typical modern hotel rooms. Ice-maker and ice-bucket, refrigerator, Big TV with youtube, nice toiletries, strong water pressure. Great breakfast with omelet station, DIY tea station with mint, lemon, ginger, and a real honeycomb Perfect location near riverside, 5 minutes walk to old town Friendly employees who always smile and greet you.
−Coffee from the automatic machine tasted bad, I tried both the normal coffee and the espresso. Filter coffee from a large thermos would be better. This takes away from the otherwise great breakfast.

−Very disappointing check-in experience at Cologne Marriott Hotel. After a 7-hour flight and a 2-hour drive from Frankfurt, I was asked to wait until 3 PM due to late check-outs, yet my room was only given to me after 2 PM despite being available. This was unacceptable and well below Marriott’s expected service standards.

−Teknik bir aksaklık sebebiyle otele gece geç saatte vardık. Öncesinde booking üzerinden mesaj göndermemize rağmen hiçbir dönüş alamadık, telefonla aramamız da cevaplanmadı. Checkin sonrası odamıza gittiğimizde bize rezervasyon yaptırdığınız çift kişilik yataklı bir oda yerine iki tek kişilik yatak olan oda verildiğini gördük, lobiye dönüp bi yanlışlık olduğunu söyledik ve odamızı değiştirmek istedik, fakat otelin tamamen dolu olduğunu başka müsait oda olmadığını bildirdiler. Özür olarak odamıza kahvaltı dahil etmeyi teklif ettiler, çalışanların iyi niyetli bir yaklaşımıydu fakat kabul etmek istemedik, rezerve ettiğimiz odada kalmak istiyorduk. Israr etmemiz üzerine bize çift kişilik yatak olan bir oda verdiler. Bunu ilk etapta yapmamaları açıkçası bizi düşündürdü. Normalde rezervasyon yaptırdığımız oda kahve makinesi olan bir odayken bize verilen odada bunolanak mevcut değildi. Yerdeki halı çok kirli ve leke içindeydi, banyodaki havlulat lekeliydi, genel olarak havlular yıkanmaktan yıpranmış ve grileşmişti. Oda genel olarak temiz bir odadan ziyade bakımsız ve iyi havalandırılmamış hissi uyandırıyordu. Terlik, bornoz gibi olanaklara sadece resepsiyondan isteyerek ulaşılabiliyor kend
