−There’s no heated water (despite them claiming there is) and there is no noise suppression either, so if you need to sleep early to wake up early in the next day you are essentially forced to try sleeping while listening to the music from the restaurant upstairs until 10:30 PM

+Good location walkable to all main sites in the city. Staff were nice. Good value for money for Venezuela
−Room was right by reception so it was very noisy as no sound insulation. Bathroom very small, and no extractor fan in bathroom so room and bathroom smells of damp, and if bathroom window left open more noise and mosquitoes enter.

「Better to choose near Simon Bolivar Sq in Merida or other cities in Venezuela」
+Sleeping was good.
−Staff don’t speak even very basic English. Communication was confusing and misleading, also they knew I don’t speak Spanish and I am texting them in Spanish (using Google translate) - still I get back message in Spanish. They told me in their breakfast no vegetarian food. Location is not good. When I was asking if there any transportation from the airport - they said just taxi ($45). In fact there several buses waiting for Merida ($17). I was asking if they have city map with points to visit - answer was no.

+The staff was great and extremely kind. The location was really safe and convenient for most things we needed; we could even go out at nights. The place is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The pizza of their restaurant was quite good and at a reasonable price. The hotel/posada is associated with several tourism agencies that we use, like Mérida Clandestina and that made our trip exceptional. I totally recommended if having a strong and stable internet connection for working is not a priority to you. Great experience.
−The only thing I did not like is that the internet was unstable for the most part and unpredictable (sometimes it would be great and the next minute it would fail, even when they had about 7 networks).
