「I would defo recommend.」
+The location was great! A short walk to both the train station and town centre. Staff were lovely and so kind snd helpful. I had an issue with my little one's pram and I was really distressed upon arrival and staff helped carry some of my items upstairs to help ease the situation for me. They don't understand how grateful I am for this as it made me feel less stressed with how I was feeling. The staff when checking out also showed the same level of kindness and compassion when again helping me with my belongings to come downstairs due to again issues with my little ones pram and then having a baby and luggage. The breakfast was also lovely and a nice selection. My little one doesn't sleep very well and she slept the whole night in the bed.
−There was nothing I didn't like. It was a great location, worth the money and great staff.

「Comfortable hotel with free parking & convenient for Dumfries town centre」
+Fabulous breakfast. Room ok but very dark, but beds comfortable. En suite good & clean. Free parking which was a good bonus. Close to town
−Very dark room! Could do with brighter wallpaper not the dark stuff that's up. Also we had only 1 plug on the double socket that worked & that we could use, therefore could not watch TV while boiling kettle or using a hairdryer. Or vice versa. En suite could have done with another shelf or somewhere to put our toiletries.

「Appalling customer service and smelly room.」
+Breakfast was ok
−Possible faecal contamination on chair, sweaty musky odor in the room and mouldy carpet at the window. And very poor and destastful customer relations- denying that I had made staff aware of existing issues and also staff fabricating lies that I had a 2nd guest in my room when it was a fellow wedding guest that was staying in the hotel in one of the other rooms.

+Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Location spot on.
−The ease of checking in, simple phone call to access key. Also having to leave early we placed key in same place, we felt kindness and trust.

−Thr hotel needs a new toaster. Thr staff know thr current one is no good. Too many people eating burnt toast
