「Value for money」
+Clean and comfortable room with lovely staff
−There is noise from the bar below (we were aware there would be)
「Good choice for a short stay」
+Breakfast was complimentary which was a lovely gesture . Good choice too from menu . Room was nice and the bathroom was a decent size with an excellent shower . Bed was comfy too . Pub is on the outskirts of Sidmouth and within walking distance of shops and the Byres .

+Very warm and welcoming Extra Tea, Coffee, Towel Rail was on. Food available. Feel Breakfast (although I didn’t have time)

−very noisy after midnight with people shouting and swearing; my friend did not feel safe here.

−The building was a bit tired but we understand there is a major refurbishment planned for next year so we are looking forward to revisting when this is done

+Really good value for money. Rooms were large enough with good sized beds and shower.
−Pub is open until midnight so can be noisy until 12.15-12.30 while people leave.
