「Lovely stay」
+perfect location. comfy rooms. free parking. lovely and helpful staffs.
−Nothing really serious but fyi this is a heritage building that has no lifts. We were booked on the top floor so we had to carry our luggages and pram up and down the stairs.

+Very pleasent staff. I enjoyed the decor from the original 1921 construction. The hotel is right in the middle of town where everyone does their tourist shopping. I am not used to a hotel that you can open the window to get fresh mountain air.

「great location and great price, but pack ear plugs if you're a lighter sleeper.」
+amazing location, and the lobby has vintage charm. our room was a good size, the bed was fine (although more pillows would be great) and everything seemed pretty clean. the staff were so lovely as well.
−our room was opposite the main stairs, so we had noise from people coming and going, and people from the bar downstairs were smoking and being pretty noisy outside our window into the late evening, which made it hard to fall asleep.

「Really enjoyed my stay. First time staying at this hotel.」
+Enjoyed a very good prime rib dinner on arrival and a very good breakfast the next day.
−Was disappointed that I could not get television to work even with staff assistance. Apparently a problem with locked server.
