「Clean, spacious room, but a terrifying security incident made this stay unacceptable.」
+The room was spacious and clean. These were the only notable positive aspects of my stay.
−There were recurring problems with the water pressure, which frequently dropped to the point where barely any water came out. However, by far the biggest and most serious issue was the failure of room security. During the night between 26 and 27 October, around 01-02 AM, an unknown man entered my room while I was sleeping and physically grabbed my leg, waking me up. I was sleeping with earplugs in, and the room was completely dark. It was an extremely frightening experience. After the person left, I discovered that approximately 600-1,000 THB in cash was missing from my wallet, which had been lying on the room table. I subsequently contacted the Tourist Police and the Royal Thai Police and filed an official police report. The hotel's management was not particularly helpful in addressing the incident, and I felt that my concerns were largely ignored. A hotel room should be a place where guests can feel safe, especially when sleeping at night. Having an unknown person enter your room and physically touch you while you are asleep is an extremely serious security failure. 「Good value for money for a short stay」
+Very good location, clean, spacious, good shower.
−Our room didn’t have enough windows, but the AC made up for that.

+For the price you literally cannot fault it. Ideal location for us, short walk from the train station. 24 hour check in so we could arrive late. They booked our transfer and ferry to Ko Tao for us for the next day easily. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was extremely spacious and very clean. The bed was super comfortable and the aircon was excellent. Breakfast of savory rice porridge with coffee and cookies was included.
−The only thing to note is that all payments are taken in cash.
