+The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was excellent and the meals we had were of a high standard and very tasty. The location of the Old Vine is perfect, being right in the heart of old Winchester but this does mean parking is at a premium.
−We could not use to the free parking that is provided by the Old Vine because it was very busy so had to park in an NCP car park - this is not a big issue but should be taken into account when planning to stay there if arriving by car.

“Really nice for a night or two.”
+Right next to the cathedral - perfect location. Magnificent breakfast.
−There is a step behind a door that I fell down twice! They don’t offer non feather pillows, bring your own if you are allergic…

−our TV never worked, and there was no one there to fix it…..we had an early dinner as the weather was bad, so we were in our room for the evening with no TV….NOT GOOD.

“Gorgeous old hotel”
+The rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. Staff were excellent and the breakfast was delicious.
−The rooms were really noisy. You can hear all the doors slamming and everyone in the other rooms, but it is an old building

“Great location great staff . Thanks”
+We were cycling the Kimg Alfred Way this was our mid stop. The hotel was very helpful for bike storage and sorting my mistake in booking a double instead of a twin room
