“Excellent. Staff could not have been more helpful and it could not have been vleaner”
+The staff and onsen were golden; the breakfasts excellent; the design of the bedrooms could be better in that it looks perfect when empty but there is nowhere to put anything, a few hooks would solve this issue .
−A little more thought as to how to stow possessions in the room would be nice

“High quality central Kanazawa stay”
+Excellent central location with comfy clean Japanese style room for what we booked and helpful staff. The breakfast, if getting that, was a very good quality set (although may be a bit more of an acquired taste for western palettes). Nice onsen facilities.
−I cannot really fault the stay but if anything it would be that there isn’t really any clear baggage storage space for the twin room type that we had. So for the four of us sharing with a suitcase each the floor was a little crowded.
