“A lovely, clean family run hotel in the centre of Samakov. Brilliant alternative to costly Borovets.”
+Toni, the owner looked after us and is a really nice lady. The room are perfectly fine and very clean and the rate was excellent value for money. The location, i.e. in the centre of Samakov is excellent. We were skiing in Borovets and had a rental car, so it was just a very short drive from the hotel. The restaurants around Samakov are great and are just a short walk from the hotel.
−Not much. There was a guard dog that barked a lot, but that can't be helped I guess. It is a real pity there is no formal connection between the hotel and adjoining the café/restaurant. We would have loved to have had breakfast there in the morning as part of the cost of our stay for a little extra.

“Excellent weekend in Hotel Niko Samokov 👌”
+The location was perfect 5 min walk to centar of Samokov all market was on 5min. Walk Bila, Lidl, etc. and 10-15 minutes drive to Borovets and to don't forget you have free parking front the hotel at any time. The room was very beautiful clean and hot with balcony and nice view to Rila mountain. Personal was very frendly, we ask if we can left room after 4pm because regular time is 12 and they allow us to stay without any charge. I strongly recommend hotel Niko you cannot get better for this price.

+Спокойно местенце
−Нямаше достатъчно топла вода. Спалнята не беше спалня,, а две съединени легла.

“We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Niko - just remember keep a close eye on your belongings”
+Great Stay at Niko in Samokov - Just Be Mindful of Belongings Our stay at Niko in Samokov was overall a positive experience. The accommodation offered excellent value for the money, clean, well-located, and peaceful, making it a great choice for families. It’s conveniently close to Borovets, and the area has many good restaurants with friendly staff and reasonable prices. However, we did have one unfortunate incident: our baby stroller was stolen while we were unpacking our bags. It’s shocking to think someone would take a stroller, so I’d advise future guests to keep a close eye on their belongings at all times. That said, this kind of thing can happen anywhere in Bulgaria, so it’s not a reflection on the property or the owner. Despite this, we still enjoyed our stay and would recommend Niko to others, just remember to stay vigilant with your valuables!
