−We inadvertently arrived early, 45 minutes, and the owner was very unpleasant about it. It really upset us, so, if you stay here, arrive 10 minutes later than the scheduled time of 4pm, which is late.

“Can’t imagine a cuter, cleaner, cozier and more convenient place to stay when in Toronto!”
+Thoughtfully appointed, located in a leafy, transit-convenient neighborhood away from the hubbub of downtown.
−I don’t think there was a thermostat to control the AC, but the fan worked well. As might be expected on the ground floor of a vintage home, footsteps from above are audible.

+Really nice apartment and very secure. Very clean and tidy Great location just out of downtown Host was welcoming and contactable
−Nothing-great. Only minor thing if you are a light sleeper the upstairs noise is quite loud. But it did not affect our stay. Thanks!

“Very comfortable stay, and a bit more affordable”
+Location was in an older part of the city, with lots of charcter. The host bent over backwards to be helpful. There is quite a well equipped kitchen.
−The entrance was a bit hard to find, especially at night.

“Bring your earplugs!”
+Really well thought out flat and decoration including a well equipped kitchen. Public transport is really easy to get into downtown Toronto. Recommend jet fuel coffee nearby for a morning coffee!
−Whilst the flat looked nice the bed was very small for 2 people which meant for an uncomfortable stay. There's definitely room for a bigger bed in the flat. As other reviewers have mentioned there is zero soundproofing. It's a basement flat which means you can hear absolutely everything from the house above, including chatting and the dog running around on wooden floors and barking. Given the main things I want from a stay are somewhere quiet and a comfortable bed, I was disappointed in the flat. Whilst the area the house is in itself is fine if you accidentally head a couple of blocks south you end up in an area with a prominent drug and rough sleeper problem.

“We enjoyed our wet and cold stay in Toronto.”
+The location was great, convenient to the tram and a lovely area. The bed was comfortable, shower was good.
−We had our suitcases in the kitchen as there was more floor space which wasn’t a real issue.

“Parfait !”
