“Adequate as we were only staying overnight between train journeys between Strasbourg and UK.”
+Location is great. Good access to the main Lille railway station and Lille Europe station. Breakfast was good.
−On arrival we found the room small for its description. The toilet cistern was running constantly so my wife went to reception to report this. The staff member came up to the room and informed us the only alternative room was smaller in size (didn't really see how that could be possible!). She then said that the toilet fill valve needed to be manually isolated once the toilet had been flushed and the cistern refilled otherwise the water would continue to run. She demonstrated that to do this involved removal of the flush plate and putting a hand into the void behind and manually turning a valve off. NOT what I expected to be doing however it needed to be done to stop the constant sound of running water. NO compensation was offered.
