“It was a good stay. I would stay again.”
+The location of the motel, the view, the seclusion of the motel on the hill and tv channels offered was really nice.
−The external train and boat horn is pretty consistently heard and is obviously not the fault of the motel. Perhaps offer ear plugs to customers to alleviate this odd inconvenience.

“Poor value for the money. Will not stay there again. I wondered why it’s on Booking.com as well below the usual standard”
+Courteous staff, nice breakfast and clean (though quite shabby) room.
−Bare, depressing. Clothes rack is placed directly above the microwave/mini fridge so it is not useable.

+Conveniently located, nice staff and good parking.
−The blankets were a bit thin for how cold the rooms get and you can hear everyone walking around in other rooms.

“Good for a quick stay if there are no other options.”
+The room was great, the view excellent! The location was wonderful! The staff, friendly and helpful!
−The bed was old and hard, small; it was a queen but felt smaller. The pillows were flat, and the worst part.

“OK for 1 night stay but would have preferred a larger hotel brand that was bigger, quieter and newer”
+Quaint and good location to the river. Comfortable bed and pillows. Very nice staff.
−Old hotel. More like a motel. Thin walls. Small room with creaky door and very small bathroom with nowhere to put your toiletries. Floors were dirty/dusty. Fair, basic breakfast. Close to train, which honked horn often during the day. Only heard it 1-2 times at night.

+The location for our reunion, which was held nearby.
−The coating on the tub in the shower was peeling off. The morning breakfast was not good. There was no chain on the door. I had to set up the TV myself to make it work, without instructions.

“The entire facility needs improvements.”
+Location ok.
−Breakfast was below standards. Nearby train station and highway was noisy. Room door was not secure. Extensive upgrades are needed to improve safety and comfort.
